Job Purpose and Impact
The Quality Superintendent will develop and implement quality systems to provide assurances to customers that products are defect free and safe in a beef harvest facility. In this role, you will work with other departments on root cause analysis, corrective actions and preventative measures to ensure that they are effective. You will also be responsible for leading effective and efficient processes for customer complaints. You will work with senior staff to address customer requirements and concerns, as well as lead a collaborative effort on audits.
Lead process to ensure that all product complaints for plant are reviewed and corrective actions provided as necessary by utilizing various programs and systems.
Ensure appropriate customer specifications and government regulations are met.
Investigate and follows up on quality and food safety incidents that occur in the plant to ensure they are reported and that corrective action and permanent corrections are taken.
Own the relevant change management processes, specifications, labels and product quality reviews.
Review the work of a team of analysts or inspectors that collects data identifying potential quality failures.
Evaluate quality of raw materials or components, in progress goods, processes, or operations.
Provide leadership, development and talent management activities for direct reports which may include forecasting resource needs, recruiting, hiring, performance management, training and budgeting.
Lead and develop a team, coach and make decisions related to talent management, hiring, performance, and disciplinary actions.

The expected salary for this position is $100,000 - $112,000. Compensation varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific location, certifications, education, and level of experience. The disclosed range estimate may be adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. This position is eligible for a discretionary incentive award. The incentive award amount is dependent upon company performance and your personal performance.
