FSNS C&A (Food Safety Net Services Certification and Audit) is hiring full and part time food processing plant auditors. We are seeking applicants with meat or poultry industry experience. This is a great opportunity for college professors to earn an additional income as well as be on the cutting edge of food safety while visiting all types of food processing plants. This experience will further help college professors in their classrooms. With a long term commitment FSNS will cover the cost of training to become a qualified GFSI auditor. FSNS C&A can be flexible with your schedule. We would like to have a minimum of 40 audit days per year and a five year commitment.
This is also a great opportunity for people with meat or poultry industry experience who have obligations like farming or raising children and want a part time job.
This is also a great job for those who have retired from teaching or extension but would like to stay involved in the food industry.

•B.S. Degree in Animal Science, Food Science, or related field - preferred.
•Must be able to travel 90-100% of the work week.
•3+ years' experience or equivalent in QA or Food Safety.
•Experience with USDA and FDA inspected manufacturing facilities.
•HACCP Trained or Certified preferred.
•Quality Assurance or Food Safety Expertise in a beef, pork or poultry plant environment preferred.
•Working knowledge of USDA (FSIS) guidelines preferred.
•Animal welfare/ or animal husbandry exposure required.
•Hold valid Driver’s License.
•Must hold passport or have ability to obtain passport
